2009
- Establishment of BPC’s office in the USA.
- Entering Latin American market. Implementation of a fully functional processing center based on SmartVista products in Atlantida bank (Honduras), a leader in the sphere of retail financial services in the region.
2008
- BPC’s further expansion into the international market: implementation of SmartVista™ at Vietnamese DongA Bank, Diners Club franchises in New Zealand, Vela ATM in the Republic of South Africa, Armenian national processing company ArCa, Alp Jamol Bank in Uzbekistan, in Central Bank of Turkmenistan, and other international projects.
- SmartVista™ implementation as a core of the Customs Payment System – a Russian national payment system established to ensure efficient management and control of customs payments. Creation of a modern automated payment mechanism for customs fees and duties payment with the use of EMV payment cards
- Start of a large scale project on modernisation of the IT infrastructure of the largest Asian processing and settlement company NETS (Singapore). The project will allow NETS to offer its customers innovative services based on the prepaid accounts and to automate the accounting operations through the implementation of SmartVista™ based Billing system.
- SmartVista™ rated the highest possible rating - Strong Positive – in Gartner Marketscope for Multiregional Card Management Solutions among the products offered by other industry leaders.
2007 — Implementation of SmartVista™ in CardStandard, one of the largest Russian processing centers, part of CFT Group. SmartVista™ provided CardStandard with a reliable platform to increase the number of its customers and enhance the quality of services.
2007-2006 — Strengthening BPC’s positions in Ukraine. Implementation of SmartVista™ in Bank Khreschatik, Credit-Dnepr, Bank Credobank (PKO BP Group), Energobank. Entry of BPC’s solutions into Ukrainian non-banking market with the projects in Mobile Payments Service Centre, Ukrsmart payment system.
2006 — Launch of a joint initiative with IBM aimed at bringing to international markets a new high performance fault-tolerant solution for payments processing – SmartVista i.
2004 — First sales of SmartVista™ in Ukraine: a project for the retail business infrastructure creation for UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group, Kiev. The company BPC-Ukraine established to better meet the needs of the Ukrainian customers and to enhance SmartVista™ promotion in the region.
2003
- First annual conference of the banks using SmartVista™ products - SmartVista User Group held in Paris in November 2003.
- Alfa-Bank’s new retail business project, Alfa Bank Express, realised jointly with McKinsey and Accenture. The project was aimed at the integration of various delivery channels and implementation of innovation self-service technologies to enhance retail banking services.
- Commencement of SmartVista’s promotion at the global financial market. The contract for the supply of SmartVista™ based payment processing solution signed with Security Bank Corporation, one of the largest banks in the Philippines.
- Our representative offices set in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
2002 — BPC Chemical Technologies Company established. Exclusive agreements signed with Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, USA, for supply of polymer additives. The first contracts concluded with major domestic plastics producers.
2001
- Entry into the first international contract with ING Bank Eurasia, an affiliate of the ING Group, the Netherlands, for the creation of a processing centre.
- Start of SmartVista™ implementation at Kazakh Railways, the national railway company of Kazakhstan. SmartVista™ is used as a core of the end-to-end e-business infrastructure to support ordering and settlement for both freight and passenger transport on national railroads with the use of smart cards.
2000 — Launch of SmartVista™ - BPC’s own world-class product for payment card processing and retail banking. The product registered in the Russian Federation and the United States of America.
1999 — Start of a large-scale project for the modernisation of Alfa-Bank’s processing centre. Implementation of customer contact centre, e-commerce and corporate e-business systems based on the SET (Security Electronic Transaction) technology
1997 — Launch of a large-scale project for the modernisation of Gazprombank’s retail banking business, including the central and regional processing centres, self-service outlets and the supply and support for the bank’s ATMs 1996 — Contract award to the company: the international tender for setting up the Savings Bank of Russia’s processing centre, now the largest in the countr
1995 — BPC Company established.
